of Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Programs in the United States
A product of a long-term research project on two-way bilingual immersion education
in the United States, the current directory updates information that has been
collected since 1991.
A searchable database contains profiles of 260 schools in the U.S. with two-way
programs, which are found in 23 states and the District of Columbia. Five language
groupings are represented—Spanish/English, French/English, Chinese/English,
Korean/English, and Navajo/English. Each profile contains information about
program size, student population, location, contacts, subjects taught in each
language, and assessment tools used in the evaluation process.
